DONAC 2013 - De wingover in Standard
Er zijn wat vragen gerezen over de wingover in Standard (figuur 7).
Bij deze een beschrijving in het Engels van de techniek die de jury verwacht te zien.
The requirements for a power wingover are:
Establish a 45 up (doesn't matter how long but it must be visible).
Roll to AT LEAST 90 degrees of bank to pull round in a co-ordinated manner through 180 degrees. Roll and pull simultaneously to reach a 45 down line in the reverse direction.
The 45 down line does not need to be the same length as the 45 up.

The figure should be used as an energy management manoeuvre so that you use the 45 down to get to the speed for the next figure.
You can use more than 90 bank, indeed it is most easily flown with around 120 bank.
