Nog meer aerobatic training met Nicolas Ivanoff

Van Gerrit Nijs ontvingen we onderstaande informatie over vervolgtraining met Nicolas Ivanoff:

Dear all,

As you know, the Belgian Aerobatic Club (BAC) is organizing an aerobatic course with Red Bull Air Race pilot, Nicolas Ivanoff from the 6th until the 10th of April 2011 at the airport of Saint Hubert.
The course is basically full, however, we can still offer a couple of single days for those of you who might be interested.
Dates are: 6, 7, and 10th of April.
Price is 150€ per day per person, plus food and accommodation for Nicolas, but this last one is shared by the participants and adds only a small cost to the course.
Let me know as soon as possible if you're interested in one or all of these days.
A second course with Nicolas is being organized and this from the 13th until the 16th of June 2011 at the airport of Saint Hubert (just ahead of the Belgian Aerobatic competition).
In case you're interested in this course then let me know as soon as possible.

Training met Nicolas Ivanoff

De Belgische aerobatic vereniging organiseert van 6 t/m 10 april een trainingskamp met instructie van Unlimited en Red Bull Air Race vlieger Nicolas Ivanoff. VINK leden kunnen hier ook aan deelnemen.

The first aerobatic course with Nicolas Ivanoff at the airport of Saint Hubert is being organized.
Dates are from the 6th until the 10th of April 2011 with a possibility to extend 2 days before, so from the 4th until the 10th if enough people participate in the course.
Preference will be given to pilots that participate the full 5 days in the course, but if you'd like to reserve only a couple of days, or even only one day, then we will try to accommodate.
Nicolas still has to inform me about the exact pricing but he told me that he will align his prices on those of Catherine Maunoury, meaning 150€ per person per day, plus food and accommodation.
At this point, if you don't know yet whether you will be able to participate these days, but would like to, then let me know so I can make an estimate of the pilots that will participate, however, if you want to reserve your slot already now and be sure about your participation in this course, then let me know and transfer the money to my account:

2011 Aerobatic competition

Lelystad Airport (EHLE) will once again be the setting of the Dutch Open National Aerobatic Championship, held september 9 to 11. Pilots will be competing for several awards and of course the title of Dutch Aerobatic Champion.

Besides the DONAC we'd like to point out two other competitions of special interest to Benelux pilots. First, the Belgian Open National Aerobatic Championship, held june 17 to 19 at Saint Hubert airport (EBSH).

Second, the Championnat de France, held august 24 to 28 at Amiens, France (LFAY). Classes flown are Espoir, Promotion and National 2, which provides an excellent preparation for anybody interested in competing at the DONAC (an inverted fuel system is required for all classes mentioned).

Verslag DONAC 2010

Op 26 augustus, de dag voor het begin van de Dutch Open National Aerobatic Championship, werd Nederland weer getrakteerd op stevige buien. Ook de verwachtingen voor het traditioneel laatste weekend van augustus waarop de wedstrijd gehouden wordt zagen er niet erg rooskleurig uit.

Maar bij een wedstrijd met veel deelnemers en vrijwilligers die hiervoor maanden van tevoren tijd, vervoer en verblijf hadden geregeld is verschuiven geen optie dus moesten we er het beste van maken.

DONAC 2010 succesvol afgesloten

Ondanks het vaak slechte weer was het toch mogelijk een goede DONAC te vliegen. Uiteindelijk zijn er ruim veertig veilige vluchten gedaan en heeft elke klasse, afgezien van Beginners, twee sequences gevlogen. Het Yak 52 programma is zelfs volledig voltooid!

Hendrik-Jan van Overvest is voor het vijfde opeenvolgende jaar Nederlands Kampioen.
